I am Mrs. Konarek and I will be your child's ART teacher this year at Coupland!  I am here to help your child learn to channel their individuality and creativity through art.  This year you will see your child's create wonderful pieces of art that you will be proud of for year's to come. 

A little bit about me:

I was born and raised in Elgin, but my family and I currently live in Thorndale. I have a daughter, Lexann, who will be in second grade this year, and I have a son, Brayden, who will be in kindergarten this year at Coupland. 

I love to use a palette knife to paint pretty signs and decor. I also love woodworking and carpentry (I am self taught and by no means an expert). I did however, make a bed frame for Lexann a few years ago and we are currently building a treehouse (which is taking much longer than planned :/ ). I love having projects to complete. 

I look forward to helping your child grow into a budding artist and maybe I will do a good enough job that they will want to continue to express themselves through art throughout their years.
