Brian Booker began as Principal of Coupland School in 2023. He is dedicated to making Coupland School the BEST little school in Texas where excellence is tradition!  

Mr. Booker comes to Coupland ISD from Eagle Mountain Saginaw ISD with over a decade of administrative experience. Prior to his time in EMS ISD, Booker served as an Assistant Principal in Rockdale ISD and as the Principal for Forbes Middle School in Georgetown ISD. Booker has more than 17 years of experience serving students in Texas public schools. He got his start as a science teacher in Galena Park ISD and also served in Dickinson ISD. In 2011, he transitioned from science teacher to administrator in Pflugerville ISD, focusing on enrichment and intervention programs. His wife, Kimberly, is also an educator. She holds a master's in Math Curriculum and Instruction from UTA and currently works for Western Governor's University. They have three children; Jaxon, Whitley and Isabella.
