Employment Opportunities

  •  Thank you for your interest in Coupland ISD. Coupland offers $450 toward health care benefits and provides a $20,000 life insurance policy for all employees.  District employees can transfer their students into the district at no cost.  Extended care is provided for district employees at no cost.  All teachers are eligible for the Teacher Incentive Allotment and if they qualify, they can earn $6207, $12,414 or $22,690 annually above their pay.  Interest applicants should send their application to Keagan Olson at kolson@couplandisd.org

    Applications for the 2023-2024 school year are now being accepted.  Vacancies include:

    Principal-The campus is a growing PK-8th grade school with approximately 300 students.  The principal is responsible for the daily operations of the school.  The job description can be found here.

    Counselor-The school counselor serves PK-8th grade. The primary focus of the counselor is to provide guidance lessons as well as small group and individual counseling sessions for grades PK-8.   

    PK Teacher-The PK program is a full day program and there is a full-time instructional assistant assigned to each PK teacher.

    3rd grade teacher-The 3rd grade teacher is responsible for teaching math and science to both classes.  The other 3rd grade teacher provides the ELAR and Social Studies instruction.

    Music Teacher-The music teacher works with grades PK-6 and has one elective period for 7th & 8th grade.  The elective may be a course other than music.  

    bus driver- 20 hours a week.  $500 signing bonus and health care benefits are provided.

    We are currently accepting applications for substitute teachers.

    **Substitutes who hold a four-year degree (or higher), and wish to be categorized as "Degreed" for pay  purposes, must submit an original transcript that reflects the awarded degree to the Coupland ISD Administration Office.
