Hello! My name is Ms. Lester, and I am so thrilled to be the Reading Interventionist here at Coupland ISD. It’s going to be an exciting year with many new adventures and fun filled learning. I want to learn all about you, but first let me tell you a few things about myself!

I grew up in San Antonio and graduated from Churchill High School in 1994. I received my bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas State University and a master’s degree in Sociology from Texas State University. 

I married to Nick. We live on a hay farm and have chickens and a cat. I love spending time with my family. I enjoy swimming, cycling, learning, and reading.

I have taught for 21 years. I have taught  PreKindergarten, Kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade, Special Education, and Dyslexia. I previously taught in Mabank ISD, San Antonio ISD, Austin ISD, Elgin ISD, and Thrall ISD. 

I am so excited to be the Reading Inventionist this year, and can’t wait to see your smiling faces on the first day of school!
