What an amazing day to be a Cowboy🤠!
At our first ever district meet ever high school athlete qualified for the regional cross country meet!
Both of our Varsity girls qualified as individuals Lia Satey placed 6th and Laya Satey placed 9th.
The Varsity boys team placed 2nd overall with Jesus Arenas and Elijah Lee leading the way!
The JH boys team got first place overall and had 4 runners in the top ten. Medals were earned by Jude, Riley, Adrian, and Juan Mejia.
JH girls ran their hearts out and placed 3rd overall.
CHS Varsity will compete in the Regional Championship on 10/27 in College station!
So proud of all the heard work these athletes put in all year. 💙

Congratulations to all 3 Junior High Volleyball teams! Each of them have been working hard and all three teams brought home victories! Coach Danek has been working intensely on character with our young ladies as well. September's focus is Mental Toughness! #MakeItMatter #GoCowgirls
The Junior High and Freshman Football teams showed much improvement from last week to this week. Great standout plays happened on both sides of the ball Thursday night. Students in Entrepreneurship 1 made mock business plans, gave peer feedback, and even invested in their peers. After some deliberation Principal “Moneybags” Booker couldn’t help but invest in some businesses himself!

✅Attendance is Required:
HS credit courses fall under the 90% rule - your student must pass and be in attendance to earn credit.
Our school day begins at 7:50 AM. Please have your child here by 7:45 so they can start their day smoothly and not fall behind.

🤠Cowboy Time
Have you heard your student talking about IXL, Cowboy Time, or Corral?
Mon-Thurs: CJHHS Academic Support. During this 33 minute period students receive homework support, skills practice, accelerated instruction, and small group instruction for Math and English and core classes.
Friday - ZAP and Corral: Students can earn enrichment time by meeting weekly skills, character and work completion goals. Students that are still in need of support have additional academic help.
🤓Tutorials
Tutoring is offered after school Monday through Thursday from 3:38-4:08 PM.
In district students can use the “Cowboy Bus” which runs district-wide after tutorials are complete.

All band students should have their instruments by this time.

Our building is still under construction. Once the last additions are complete we will host a Grand Opening.
All campus visitors must have a valid ID.
No food deliveries are permitted (uber eats, door dash, etc.)
Guardians are permitted to eat lunch with their student in the cafeteria.
Sharing food is not allowed. Please do not send your student food to share with other students.
For questions, please contact the front office at 512-856-2424 (se hablamos espanol!) If you ever have any questions or concerns about what is happening in class, reach out to your students' teachers. Should you have any questions or concerns beyond that, it is my pleasure to speak with you over the phone, via email, or in person during a scheduled meeting.

In our new Principles of Art, A/V, and Communications class, our student was spotted practicing his camera work in the hall of our new Coupland Junior High and High School campus! This class is currently practicing framing different shots in various locations around campus and students will continue to learn various skills with various camera equipment and editing software. We are excited to see what the future holds for this class!
