Our first CJHHS Parent Newsletter is below. Basic information about school and supporting your student are included.

✅Attendance is Required:
HS credit courses fall under the 90% rule - your student must pass and be in attendance to earn credit.
Our school day begins at 7:50 AM. Please have your child here by 7:45 so they can start their day smoothly and not fall behind.
The Coupland ISD App: Found in the App Store and Google Play. Download the Coupland ISD app for important notices in real time, easy access to lunch menus, the events calendar, our live feed, and important documents.

🤠Cowboy Time
Have you heard your student talking about IXL, Cowboy Time, or Corral?
Mon-Thurs: CJHHS Academic Support. During this 33 minute period students receive homework support, skills practice, accelerated instruction, and small group instruction for Math and English and core classes.
Friday - ZAP and Corral: Students can earn enrichment time by meeting weekly skills, character and work completion goals. Students that are still in need of support have additional academic help.

🤓Tutorials
Tutoring is offered after school Monday through Thursday from 3:38-4:08 PM.
In district students can use the “Cowboy Bus” which runs district-wide after tutorials are complete.

All band students should have their instruments by this time.

🤠Visitors to Campus
Our building is still under construction. Once the last additions are complete we will host a Grand Opening.
All campus visitors must have a valid ID.
No food deliveries are permitted (uber eats, door dash, etc.)
Guardians are permitted to eat lunch with their student in the cafeteria.
Sharing food is not allowed. Please do not send your student food to share with other students.

🏆 2026–2027 Season Passes:

• $35 – Individual Athletic Pass

• $75 – Family Athletic Pass
