As most of you know, safety is our top priority. As such, Coupland Elementary will be conducting a full evacuation drill this week. We will evacuate the campus and transition to our evacuation site. Safety precautions are in place and we are working with our local first responder partners. We will follow up the day of the drill and when the exercise has concluded. For the first time, the district is operating two campuses while beginning the process of adding secondary grade levels each year.
The proposed VATRE would provide nearly $263,000 in additional annual operating revenue as those ongoing costs increase.

PreK-2nd had great way to start their Monday morning!! They learned so much! (More pictures on Facebook)
Plus, each grade level has learned about “Community Helpers” and PreK is learning the letter “Hh” this week! They saw a “helicopter, helpers, Heroes, helmets” and so much more!
🎶 **Freeze & Spell!** ✏️One of 2nd grade's favorite ways to practice heart words! Students walk and dance around the room while the music plays. When the music stops, they **freeze, find a whiteboard, and write the heart word called out!** Then the music starts and we do it all over again! 🎵
