The National Junior Honor Society is partnering with Samaritan’s Purse in “Operation Christmas Child” for this years’ service project. Operation Christmas Child has delivered gift-filled shoeboxes to over 168 million needy children in more than 100 countries.
The national junior honor society will be collecting gift filled shoe boxes until November 14th. It’s a really simple way to give a gift to a child that in most case won’t get anything for Christmas.
You basically pack a shoebox with gifts and Samaritan’s Purse sends it (along with other shoeboxes) to children as a Christmas present and outreach.
