⭐️ Staff Member of the Month: Neil White! ⭐️ We are so thankful to celebrate Neil White as our Staff Member of the Month! Mr. White is our maintenance man, substitute bus driver, and truly a man of many talents. Mr. White worked incredibly hard this summer to make sure all of our CES teachers were moved in to their new classrooms, and he also helped prepare everything for the high school to make their move-in as smooth as possible. 🔢 Place Value Fun in 2nd Grade! 🔢 Mrs. Schroeder’s 2nd graders are kicking off our place value unit! Today, we worked together to find the best way to group **500 straws** to make them easier to count. Hands-on learning makes math so much fun! 💯✏️

A really awesome pre-k student, Sadai, was recognized by 6th grade teacher, Mrs. Vernier, for showing the “Cowboy Way” by using really good manners! 💙

Opening a second campus means more than adding another building.

It also means additional ongoing costs for teachers and staff, transportation, utilities, instructional support, maintenance and other daily operations.

Those expenses are paid through Coupland ISD’s Maintenance and Operations, or M&O, budget.

Coupland ISD has expanded to two campuses.

Beginning this school year, the district is serving students on two campuses for the first time. The new secondary campus opened Aug. 11 serving students in grades 7 through 9, with one additional grade level planned each year.

As the district grows, so do the day-to-day costs of serving students.

Students in Entrepreneurship 1 made mock business plans, gave peer feedback, and even invested in their peers. After some deliberation Principal “Moneybags” Booker couldn’t help but invest in some businesses himself!

Today brought some extra smiles to Coupland! 🐾💙 A huge thank you to the Hutto Police Department for sending Chase, a crisis dog in training, to visit each of our classes today! Our students absolutely loved spending time with Chase, and his visit brought some much-needed smiles to our school. Thank you to Police Officer Tawni Moody and Crisis Intervention Specialists Ashley Wilson and Katie Leal-Bristol for spending time with our students and making today so special. And a special thank you to Trey Hewtty with Williamson County OEM for helping make this visit happen! We are so grateful for the incredible community support surrounding our Coupland family. 💙🐾
